"Oh hello, just accidentally popped into the Islington GU. Hypnotised by those fancy lights running down the catwalk. Loved it. Perfect venue for me and my partner. We absolutely could not have wondered into a better place. Loved the design, the staff and even the fantastic looking toilets which let some places down. My partner just happens to know a thing or two about cocktails and she said the cocktails we were drinking were some of the finest that she'd put to her lips. So, if you don't mind, we'd like the GU Managing Director and his team of budding bar and grill builders to visit Aylesbury and put a GU bar at the basin of the Grand Union canal in the new Waterside development where my partner and I are more than happy to run it hohohoh. So, yes. GU at the GU in Aylesbury"

"I was invited to a friend's birthday at the Kentish Town venue. I tried to book there for this night out but as they couldn't accommodate for the large numbers they recommended the Camden venue. We all ate various burgers, and they were lovely. We especially loved the Maris Piper Chips which were served piping hot!! The variety of music suited the venue, some great choices from the DJ who was there for the night. The atmosphere was perfect for a big group out, busy but not too 'rowdy' as some venues would have been. Quite chilled earlier in the evening whilst eating dinner, and had a good buzz later on. We had a brilliant night - the staff were very accommodating of our large group and Odette personally introduced herself at the start of the night. We had extras chairs which were cleaned first, catering requirements outside of the standard menu and a cake which the staff happily hid and produced later in the evening. I would definitely return and / or recommend to friends."

"Brixton Grand Union is great. I was looking for a place to go on a Friday night, found you on the internet, looked great so we gave it a shot. Went several times before deciding to make it my venue for my party. We never have to wait at the bar; we were upstairs and no one had to wait to order, we were all very impressed. We ordered some fries at the beginning of the night, very delicious. We were there for my birthday, so all had a great time dancing to the music. Was perfect - everyone had a great time! Never had to wait in a queue for the ladies toilets either, which is always a plus!"
